furniture since the inception of the company in 1945. The company is
recognized as a leader in the design and implementation of productive
workplace solutions. The 125,000 sq. ft. Conklin, New York facility is
designed to manufacture finished products or wood and metal components.
SMC employs the latest technology in computer-aided design and
manufacturing to insure quality fit and finish.
SMC has more than 3,500 technical furniture installations nationwide in a vast variety of environments. A direct sales force, coupled with value added resellers and experienced dealers, assists customers in developing customized solutions.
Our Capabilities
SMC offers a full service approach to create customized solutions. A local sales consultant meets with the client and provides the initial layout solution. Project Management then develops an in-depth proposal with the assistance of Design Engineering. Detailed drawings, specifications and 3-D color renderings are created to help the visualization process. The sales consultant makes modifications as necessary. Once a proposal is accepted, SMC offers unparalleled manufacturing capability with short lead times, and installation performed by SMC certified installers.
